History

The history of Bear Lock is going back to the eighties when the brand manufacturer Zygmunt Niedźwiedź started up a garage. Its specialisation was the installation of anti theft devices.
Due to long experience of the company owner in the anti theft systems, there was invented the first in the world prong lock with removable pin.
Bear Lock products receives Munich TÜV certificate - the most prestigeous certyfing unit in auto industry.
Kulczyk Tradex company, as Volkswagen car importer, established cooperation with Bear Lock.
Opening of Bear Lock new branch in Ostrava, Czech Republic.
Winning the first gold medal of Poznań International Fair
Moving the company to a new residence
Breakthrough in installation field. Invention of first W lock (lock for the box)which montage did not demand interference in a car's bodywork.
Implementation of quality management system (abv: QMS) according to ISO (International Organization for Standardizartion) standard 9001
The invention of first lock bolt.
Receiving three, gold medals MTP, and then the award of 'MTP Great Gold Medal'.
The company was extended to a new, production floor; moreover, a new production line was actuated. Since then, blockades are produced with the CNC machine tools.
Foreign trade exceeded the domestic trade. Opening new branches in the Netherlands and Germany
The founders of the company - Mr. Zbigniew and Mrs. Regina Niedźwiedź became laureates of ' Great Poland Businessman of 20th century between 1990 and 2010' competition.
